THE dismantling of the globalists’ Net Zero deceit continues apace as energy prices continue to rise, Arctic sea ice stubbornly refuses to melt and US President Trump’s energy advisors spear the technocrats supra-national ambitions.
Hatched by a series of anti-fossil fuel, communist activists and whipped into a planet-saving, apocalyptic, frenzy by the unquestioning technocrats at the United Nations, Net Zero is primarily a capitalism hatchet job.
Back in 2015 when Net Zero was being embraced by the elite, UN boss Christiana Figueres, key driver of the Paris climate deal, revealed their hand.
"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally transforming the economic development model that has been reigning since the industrial revolution," she opined (1).
Well, this state-mandated ‘socialist utopia’ maybe what the UN, the WEF, the Club of Rome, Blackrock and their political acolytes want - but it is far removed from the needs and wants of everyday people.
Science Fiction
Thankfully the most powerful man in the world is aware of this insanity and is calling it out for exactly what it is.
President Trump has brought a halt to the hated windmill developments in the US, with knock-on effects in the UK and elsewhere (2).
And, in a new report from the US Department of Energy the climate scaremongering of the UN is described as being more akin to ‘Science Fiction’.
Discussing the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports the authors highlight how the climate research community has spent a decade ‘committing scientific resources to science fiction’ adding ‘that the scientific literature has become imbalanced in an apocalyptic direction’.
Entitled; ’A Critical Review of Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions On The US Climate’ (3) the paper’s respected authors include Judith Curry, Ph.D who has been ostracised from the academic crowd for her realistic views on man-made global warming.
In analysing how temperature records have been poisoned by bias, in the location of weather stations, the report concludes that in some instances the Urban Heat Island effect can boost temperature readings by up to 50%.
Here, in the UK, we have just had the ‘hottest summer on record’ and while we’ve enjoyed some superb weather, can we trust the Met Office’s record-breaking claims when most of its weather stations are of ‘junk’ status (4).
The IPCC said the Arctic would be ice-free, any day now, yet there has been no deterioration in the ice mass as reported by The Guardian, earlier this month, with scientists now meekly accepting natural cycles are at play (5).
Here we come to the crux, the climate’s natural cycles, or mankind? Fifty years ago Time magazine reported that droughts, floods and other extreme weather were the result of a period of global cooling, now they’re blamed on man-made global warming (6)
Meanwhile Energy bills in the UK continue to rise as Ofgem recently confirmed week with windfarms being highlighted as a factor.
And research from Eigen Values estimates all green jobs will end up costing us bill, and taxpayers, at least £200,000 each in subsidies (7).
These rising bills come as the gulf in electricity prices between the UK, Europe and the US become even more stark. As the US focuses on energy security we preen our feathers in Net Zero fantasy-land meaning we now pay four times more for electricity (8).
Net Zero Stupidity
Cheap energy has been the main driver of mankind’s march out of poverty, and the basis for human flourishing over the last 200 years. This has seen the planet’s population rise from one to eight billion.
All of this is being put at risk by the mind-blowingly stupid quest for a future where carbon-dioxide - the vital food of plants - is corralled into some arbitrary, man-made, maximum atmospheric level.
The stupidity of this quest, the science which underpins it and the immense harm it will do to mankind - and the planet - is something which should concern us all.
In years to come our offspring will look back on these moments in history as we look back, dumbstruck, at the stupidity of the human sacrifices made by ancient tribes to appease the weather Gods.
